Building a hockey rink

Whew! This was a doozy. Turns out that, while our yard looks flat, there is actually almost 2 feet of decline. So, our ice is 2 feet thick on one end of the rink and 2 inches deep on the other end. It's been around 2 weeks since the rink was built, and it's still un-skatable. We're always making the joke that we'll get our first skate in in March, which may end up being true. Anyways, this was my first blog post. It might be a bit of a stinker.

Update: Finally, the rink is ready! Going to have a few pals over tomorrow to play a little shinny.
